The sun was shining, the Blendy Sticks were brewing and there was a drive full of Imports. This one however, had a steering wheel on the wrong side… !
A new member on Daiko.co.uk by the name of Jiri had asked for some advice on fitting some HSD’s to his LHD NA6. D and I figured it would be easier to just bring it round instead of doing it at the side of the road. Compared to my old UK 5.. This was a dream!
Thankfully after doing the engine swap and pretty much every other thing you can do to a 5.. we had all the tool’s required for the task.. and considering Iv fitted around 8 set’s of HSD’s now to various cars it wasnt too much of a problem.
Soph hard at it greasing up those new HSD’s! Fraser was here too.. hiding in the shadows behind the camera 😉 Cheers for the Jack mang!
A happy owner! Thanks for the Vodka!! You might notice in these pictures the colour of the car.. It comes across as greyish silver.. however in some light its purple, then in others.. its green. I personally love it.
We did have the front eating chuckies.. however it was low.. like real low.. Upon moving the car out, just turning a little bit decided to pull and flex the archs, so back up it went until an arch roller can be got at. However we think it looks a million times better!
Jiri’s girlfriend Lucy took us out some sandwhiches and tomato’s! Which was a nice bonus 😉
All pic’s thanks to Lucy! Enjoy your trip home guys!
